Wonderful collection of WS George "Georgette" Petalware
~ YELLOW ~
Produced in the 1940's by W.S. George East Palestine, Ohio
Simple classic round dinnerware with a petal edge ~ shabby chic cottage style design!
Overall good condition.
Virtually no chips. Teacup has a crack and sugar bowl has some defects as well.
The white spots in the photos are glaze misses where the color
did not cover the area - may be small rubs where the glaze was thin.
This was common for these solid colors.
Most pieces are unmarked with maker identification
