    W.S. GEORGE GRAVY BOAT - ROMANCE PATTERN - BOLERO SHAPE - VINTAGE.
    Founded by William Shaw George in 1904, the W.S. George Pottery Company made dishes for both private consumerism and the hotel industry. Successful up until the mid-century, W.S. George went bankrupt in 1955. Royal China Company purchased the pottery plants in an attempt to keep products in circulation, but RCC officially stopped production in 1960.
    This rare gravy boat, from the Romance pattern line,  features their popular bolero design with thick ribbing, colorful flowers, and gold edging.
