    Description

    Up for consideration is a fine set of 3 Antique anatomical models the cross section of the human head. All 3 were retailed through "H. Fischer & Co. NY". Two of the 3 pieces are a pair of wax heads that are cross sectioned and exposing anatomical features of the human head. They are made of wax and have numerical values for labelling hence a teaching device.  These are small shadow boxes or curios that are hinged and open. They can hang on the wall or stand freely on the table. They look like they date from about 1910 or so. One of the models has quite a few numbers while the other does not. There is a third curio with Latin terminology for the various elements of study. Please see photos. The larger boxes measure about 9.75 inches by 7.5 inches. These are entirely made of wax.
