    Based on the 1978 play, wherein a deeply conservative judge becomes the first woman to be appointed to the US Supreme Court, leading to a friendly rivalry with an older liberal associate justice.
    Set and shot in Washington, DC and California.

Title page present, dated 9 FEBRUARY, 1979, with credits for the stage production's director EDWIN SHERIN, and stage actors HENRY FONDA and EVA MARIE SAINT. 114 leaves, with last page of text numbered II-63.
