A remote indicating vane for your home. The direction of air movement gives the amateur meteorologist a clue to the postitions of high and low pressure systems and air masses. The roof or pole mounted vane is sensitive to very light brezes. As it moves, it transmits to a stator mounted inside. This causes the pilot lamp to light up, indicating exact direction of the wind.
Uses commonly available materials.
