Arthur proposes but then meets a girl with no money, with whom he could easily fall in love (Minnelli). The film won 2 Oscars; Best Supporting Actor (Gielgud) and Best Music - Original Song. It also received 2 nominations; Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical, Best Actor (Moore) and Best Screenplay. It won 4 Golden Globes; Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical (Moore), Best Supporting Actor (Gielgud), and Best Original Song.
