    Final Draft script for the 1971 film, "Johnny Got His Gun," directed and adapted for the screen by Dalton Trumbo, and starring Timothy Bottoms, Donald Sutherland, and Donald Barry. Based on the 1939 novel by Trumbo, about a horribly disabled World War I veteran, which the acclaimed screenwriter tried for most of his career to bring to the screen.
    Yellow titled wrappers, with the title stamped at the center of the front wrapper. Title page present, with "Final Draft" and a date of April 21, 1968, with screenwriter-novelist credit for Trumbo. Holograph ink notation reading "#123" just above the date, likely a copy number. 136 pages, with pink, yellow, and blue undated revision pages throughout. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Near Fine, bound with three gold brads. An important original document for the film that bookended Trumbo's career by way of its literary origins.
