1926 Old Town Charles River Wood Canvas Canoe S/N 84711 built 1926 in great shape for almost 100 year old boat. Usable as is original orange color per Old Town build sheet. There is no damage or weak wood that needs repair. All ribs, planks, thwarts gunwales are original Including floor boards as delivered by the factory, Diamond head bolts for thwarts, A few small pieces of gunwales (6" long) have been replaced with dovetail repairs. Has the double flow through gunwale design to allow water to drain when upside down. Previous owner indicated it had been re-canvassed about 40 years ago. Paint is totally intact except for a couple of small chips.
Includes two original paddles.
This model was one of the most popular from Old Town to paddle, still made today in other materials. Own a piece of history to paddle, enjoy or display. Can be paddled as is.
